Life can be difficult, and while talks with family and friends are usually enough to help us make sense of our situation, sometimes it helps to seek the help of a compassionate, trained professional.
I am a firm believer in the resilience and creativity of the human spirit when confronted with pain and difficulty. In working with my clients and patients over the last ten years, I have often been awed and humbled at the ways people find to cope, and I have been so privileged to become part of their journey.
In therapy, I will help you explore how you approach things with yourself or others with the goal of focusing on what's working and what could work better. If it's necessary to dig into where and why things seemed to get off track in your past, we'll do that. However, I am just as ready to focus on really specific issues that just have you frustrated or sad right now. Not all therapy needs to take weeks or months. Sometimes 1 or 2 sessions with a follow-up can do wonders!
